There are three interesting concepts, three levels, which in a simplified way describe an organization's systems and IT infrastructure: "systems of engagement", "systems of activity", and "systems of record". In the first interface, systems of engagement, our users perform their work. While the logic of processes and the coordination between systems and data takes place in the next level, systems of activity. And data/information is stored in the third level, systems of record.
Onify's platform has the ability to create simple and easy-to-use interfaces for our upper-level users. Where users encounter a Google-like interface, with ease of SEARCHING information and finding shortcuts.
The key to success at the second level, systems of activity, is effective coordination or orchestration as it is also called - of systems and data/information. Onify is designed to integrate with internal and external systems of our customers - as well as to collaborate with other automation platforms. Onify's platform has two important assets to support this level; the standardized way to model processes with BPMN and the process engine.
Onify allows each system to own its data in the third level, systems of record. When Onify integrates with systems, information is made available and aggregated to best support the business.
There are several major players that try to cover all three levels of the IT infrastructure - but it often becomes complex, expensive and large. Onify represents a simpler and more neutral way to orchestrate systems and facilitate the user.
